Juan Mejia’s “Genius Loci” opens at Plecto Galeria

Juan Mejia, a Colombian sculptor trained in architecture, has opened his newest exhibition at Plecto Galeria in Medellin. An excerpt from the press release:
“Genius loci” is a concept that refers to the Roman ‘spirit of the place’. The Genius denotes what a space is or what it wants to be. In the sculpture’s “shadow color”, the folds leave subtle glimpses of the colorful material’s reflection.
